Bruges, Belgium

Called ‘The Venice of the North,’ Bruges reinvents the Venetian atmosphere and charm in an enchanted medieval setting all its’ own. Bruges is known for its exquisite preservation of a time gone by, with medieval influences and architecture around every corner. Indulge your taste buds with Belgian chocolate, matchless throughout the world and unique for its lingering flavor. The many squares offer shopping while preserving the history of the place. While its medieval heritage, greets you at every turn, the well informed traveler knows that it is also home to the only piece of Michelangelo’s work to leave Italy during his lifetime and makes a point to see it. . Bruges is a place to sit back, relax, and marvel as you gaze at impeccably white swans as they glide through the canals of this Flemish fairytale.
