Florence, Italy

Don’t worry about losing the group in Florence; you can always find your way by taking a step back, looking up, and finding the unmistakable brick cupola of the Duomo. Florence is one endless ‘walking tour,’ with art, history, language, and culture always in the immediate surroundings. Much of the cities greatest treasures, artistic and otherwise, are connected to the Medici Family. Often referred to as ‘The Family of Florence,” the Medici dynasty is a captivating and inspiring lineage of politicians, artists, and clergy with a fascinating past. Florence will not only nourish your taste for art it will please your pallet as well. Some of the best dining in Italy is to be found here. If you are going to have a nice meal out, this is the place to do it.
